Prior to Kim delving into Middle-Eastern marriage customs, she struggled to make sense of the book of Song. Six years she spent praying, fasting, researching ancient Middle-Eastern marriage, and seeking God’s word. When she began putting pen to paper to create this masterpiece of a book, it took her six years. Kim has wrestled with the Song of Solomon for over forty years. It was written about me, and it is happening now.” Luke 22:37 ERV The Scriptures say, ‘He was considered a criminal.’ This Scripture must happen. According to, “By some counts, more than 300 Old Testament prophecies point to Jesus Christ and were fulfilled by Him in His life on earth.” Well, Kim’s book is an example of a physical marriage and the marriage of Christ and the church.įor these rules are only shadows of the reality yet to come. You know how you can observe the foreshadowing of topics in the Old Testament to the New Testament? For example: Isaac and Abraham foreshadows God the Father and His Son, the unblemished lamb’s blood for the Passover foreshadows Jesus’ blood for our sins, and many more. Kim and I sat in the backyard and discussed many aspects of her book, and took our talk to a better view by walking the sandy shore along the Gulf of Mexico.
